Samantha Xu is Director of Finance & Control for Vopak Asia and Middle East Division. Based in Singapore, Samantha oversees the business of ten operating companies from the Middle East to Australia to drive financial performance, support growth agenda while maintaining high controllership by establishing proper governance structure via operating company management or JV board.

Samantha also serves on the Board of ten subsidiaries and joint ventures to steer the operating companies on their strategic priorities and functional support.

Samantha brings along with her 16 years of international finance experience in shipping and energy. Before Vopak, she was Chief Financial Officer of J. Lauritzen Singapore. Prior, she had various financial leadership roles within A.P. Moller -Maersk Group in China, Denmark as well started up a chemical carrier company for Odfjell, Norway and National Chemical Carrier,Saudi Arabia in Dubai.

Samantha holds a Global Executive MBA from INSEAD.
