Corporate Social Responsibility

Engro Vopak has been actively involved in community Investment and activities related to corporate philanthropy. Over the years we have supported and encouraged social development initiatives in health care and education sectors.

Engro Vopak has always supported community in the hour of need, be it the 2005 Earth quake, the IDP’s of Swat and surrounding areas or the recent Floods affecting millions of people in Pakistan. We endeavor to ensure that we play our role as responsible corporate citizens.

 The following major projects have been supported in 2011.

• Engro Vopak supported the rain affected people of Sind by providing food items, which were distributed by our employees in interior Sind

• Engro Vopak has committed to support Dream Foundation Trust in the construction of their school along with Volkart Foundation of Swizerland. Construction of the school is to start in early 2012

• Engro Vopak provided two school Vans to Markaz-e-Umeed for special needs children. These vans are used to transport children from the underprivileged areas of Karachi free of cost
